The Beer Prayer…

This post was originally published in 2010. In the process of updating much of my older content I find that some items will be getting facelifts.

The Beer Prayer

“Our lager, which art in barrels, Hallowed be thy drink.

Thy will be drinking, (I will be drinking), at home as it is in the tavern.

Give us this day our foamy head, and forgive us our spillage, as we forgive those who spill against us.

And lead us not to incarceration, but deliver us from hangovers. For thine is the beer, the bitter, and the lager

Barmen”

Time for a pint…

  1. Ha ha ha, fun, made me laugh last thing; couldn’t resist one of my own quickly though:

Ale Mary, full of booze, our landlord is with thee. Blessed art thou among lemon, and possessed is the foam of thy glass. Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, spray our Guinness now and at the closing hour of our breath. Mayhem.

    • It is slow going though. I have roughly 12 pages of posts that are stuck in the uncategorized section still. And this doesn’t even touch the video posts that didn’t bring the videos over.
